Weekend Workshop Gets the Whole Family Out In the Garden

During a workshop sponsored by the Cranbrook House and Gardens Auxiliary, participants will learn about "arugula to zinnias and everything in-between."

We're thinking weekend, so check out what's going on this weekend in Birmingham and Bloomfield with our Weekend Spotlight:

Our pick for today:

  • When: 1-2:30 p.m. Saturday
  • Where: Cranbrook (39221 Woodward Ave.)
  • Cost: $30 per person ($20 for members)
  • Why Go: Spring is here and so the Cranbrook House and Gardens Auxiliary invites community members to attend "From Arugula to Zinnias and Everything In-Between: A Crabrook Greenhouse Family Workshop." Participants will take an in-depth look at common garden plants and learn all about them, plus tour the facilities and participate in a planting activity. The workshop is recommended for families with children over the age of six. Please register in advance at www.cranbrook.edu; space is limited.
