Weekend Weather: Warm Temperatures, but Possible Rain Showers Predicted for Sunday

There's a lot going on this weekend, but with a chance of showers on Sunday, keep an umbrella handy.

There's a lot happening this weekend in Birmingham and temperatures will remain steady, but impending rain may threaten your Sunday plans.

According to the National Weather Service, Saturday is forecasted to be relatively warm and will have a high of 68 degrees.

Saturday night, the low will dip down to 48 degrees, and a 40 percent chance of rain will move in, which continues on through Sunday. Mostly cloudy, the high will be right around 63 degrees Sunday. This chance of showers could pose a problem for outdoor events scheduled including the Birmingham Farmers' Market.

Sunday night, the low will be 44 degrees.

Looking ahead to Monday and the first day of October, the sun will come out and the temperature is back up to 67 degrees.
