Weekend Weather Report: Chance of Rain Threatens Golf Championship

There's a 40-50 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms both days this weekend.

Have you been loving the cool, clear weather this week? Don't hold your breath: the weekend might be getting a lot rainier and colder.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a 40 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms Saturday, with a high of 76 degrees. Saturday evening, temperatures will dip to 65 degrees and the chance of thunderstorms increases to 50 percent.

Sunday will be much of the same, with a high of 77 degrees and a 30 percent chance of showers. For the golfers signed up to participate in the city's Saturday and Sunday, this may means bringing an umbrella, jacket and poncho alongside your clubs. The tournament takes place all day at Saturday and Course Sunday.

Sunday night will have a low of 61 degrees and looking ahead to Monday, the weather is expected clear up with sunny skies and a high of 81 degrees predicted.
