Weekend Weather: Get Your Rakes Ready, Sunny Skies Ahead

Thinking of heading outside and raking some leaves this weekend? Grab a jacket but pass on the rain slicker as the weather calls for cool temperatures and sunny skies.

According to the National Weather Service, the weather forecast for Birmingham calls for sunny skies and highs near 52 degrees Saturday, followed by lows near 36 at night.

On Sunday, the skies will be mostly sunny with a high near 61 degrees. Watch for those flying leaves, though — the wind could gust up to 21 miles per hour.
