Weekend Weather: Cold Temperatures, Mostly Sunny Skies in Birmingham

Temperatures will be in the low to mid-40s all weekend long, though skies look to be sunny both Saturday and Sunday.

After a cloudy week with plenty of chances for rain, this weekend will be cold but sunny.

According to the National Weather Service, Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high near 44 degrees. Winds will blow, but only up to 10 miles per hour.

Bundle up Saturday night, though, as temperatures get down to freezing. The low overnight will be 32 degrees.

The cold temperatures, however, shouldn't tamper any theater-goers spirits. Three shows will hit the stage this weekend, from the Roeper Upper School's The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee to Barnum at Groves High School. Sunday will also be mostly sunny with a high near 43 degrees. The temperatures dip to a low of 30 overnight.

Looking ahead to your Monday morning commute, the skies will be mostly sunny with a high near 42 degrees.
