What's going on this weekend around Birmingham? Patch wants to tell you!

You made it through Monday only to find yourself one day closer to the weekend. There is so much to do in Birmingham this weekend! Because we know that sometimes making planning decisions can get overwhelming, we are here to help.

So far this week, we've discussed:

  •

Our pick for today:

  • Where: Municipal parking lot No. 6 off North Old Woodward Avenue
  • When: 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday
  • Cost: Free
  • Why Go: Autumn chill has set in and the days of heading out to open air markets are disappearing. Sunday is the last day of the Birmingham Farmers Market for this season. This year the Farmers Market brought in record-breaking crowds, and for good reason.

While at the end-of-the-season celebration you can enjoy hayrides, watch a corn sheller and live pumpkin carving demonstrations and enjoy old-fashioned kettle cornl The market will also feature fresh fall produce and fall-themed home accessories.

The market encourages children to dress in their Halloween costumes and then head over to the annual afterwards.
