Weekend Planner: Art Birmingham, St. Mary's Fair

Also highlighting this weekend is the final shows of the Village Players' production of 'The Secret Garden.'

  • Cost: Free
  • Why Go: Check out one of the nation's largest high school fairs as the St. Mary's Polish Country Fair returns this weekend for its 41st season. Highlights include authentic Polish cuisine, plenty of rides, live bands, kids crafts, carnival games and event a Vegas-style gambling tent. Admission to the gambling tent is $5 and only for those 18 and over.

  • Why Go: New at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center this spring is the works of artists Adnan Charara and Robert Beras. Also on display are works from the Mosaic Artists of Michigan as well as pieces from the students of artist and BBAC instructor Meighen Jackson. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
