Charity: Community House Annual Gala

• When: 6 p.m. Saturday
• Where: The Community House
• Why Go: If you're lucky to have tickets, you'll want to make your way to The Community House's annual gala Saturday night, an event honoring eTitle CEO Linda Orlans as well as The Community House's 90th anniversary. Charity: Roeper's MOSAIC Auction

• When: 5:30 p.m. Saturday
• Where: Detroit Athletic Club (241 Madison St. in Detroit)
• Cost: $80
• Why Go: It's the Roeper School's biggest fundraising event of the year: the MOSAIC acution. Featuring a wide variety of auction items, live music, a fiesta-inspired meal and memorable moments, this is an event you won't want to miss. Music: Classical Brunch

• When: 11:30 a.m. Saturday
• Where: The Community House
• Cost: $25
• Why Go: It's the last Classical Brunch of the 2012-13 season and this weekend, pianist Peter Takacs joins cellist Robert deMaine to perform an all-Beethoven program at The Community House. Takacs is a music professor at Ohio's Oberlin College. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. with a buffet brunch beginning soon afterward. The music starts at 12:15 p.m.

Theater: DCD Presents: 'Urinetown'

• When: 7 p.m. Friday, Saturday; 3 p.m. Sunda
  
• Where: Segliman Performing Arts Center (22305 W. 13 Mile Rd., Beverly Hills)
  
• Cost: $15
  
• Why Go: The students from the Detroit Country Day Upper School premieres their rendition of the satirical musical comdey,Urinetown, this weekend at the Seligman Performing Arts Center in Beverly Hills. The show opens at 7 p.m. Friday and tickets are $15, available at www.dcds.edu or at the door.

Antiques: What's It Worth?

• When: 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday
  
• Where: Birmingham Area Seniors Center
  
• Cost: $6 for one item; $15 for three items
  
• Why Go: Find out how much your treasures are worth when Gary Wachler from theWachler Estate Collection, and antique dealer Joe Del Giudice of Del Giudice Antiques and Estate Jewelry, will be at the BASCC to appraise your special items. They will be appraising: jewelry, silver, gold, diamonds, antiques, artwork, memorbilia and coins. Refreshments will be available.

Music: Spectrum Orchestra

• When: 7:30 p.m. Friday
  
• Where: Seaholm High School
  
• Cost: $10
  
• Why Go: Spectrum Orchestra, the Birmingham area's newest orchestra for amateur adult musicians, will perform its second concert this weekend at Seaholm. The program will include a salute to Ides of March, with the orchestra performing Beriloz's "Roman Carnival Overture" and Mendelsshohn's "Reformation Symphony." The concert will be directed by Spectrum's music director, Daniel Brier.

• When: 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 2 p.m. Sunday
• Where: St. Dunstan's Theatre (400 Lone Pine Rd., in Bloomfield Hills)
• Cost: $18-$20
• Why Go: St. Dunstan's Theatre premieres their performance of Almost, Maine this weekend, a comedy comprising of almost a dozen two-character vignettes exporing the "sudden thunderclap of love and the scorched earth that sometimes follows."
