Temperatures In the 50's For This Weekend's Winter Markt

This weekend, it might feel more like early spring rather than the first weekend in December.

It might feel more like spring rather than the first weekend in December this Saturday and Sunday, with rain expected Sunday and temperatures expected to be in the 50's.

According to the National Weather Service, Saturday will be partly sunny, with a high near 51 degrees. Winds will come from the south, blowing between seven and 10 miles per hour. On Saturday night, there's a 50 percent chance of showers, with lows dipping only down to 48 degrees.

That rain is likely to continue to Sunday — potentially putting a damper on the Winter Markt festivities in Shain Park. There's a 60 percent chance of rain, mostly before 1 p.m. Meanwhile, Sunday at least looks to be warmer. Temperatures are expected to reach 58 degrees with wind gusts up to 20 miles per hour.
