See Skaters Dance, Spin and Whirl at Annual Ice Show

The Birmingham ice show will take place Saturday and Sunday at the Birmingham Ice Sports Arena.

  • Why Go: Watch the students from Birmingham's neighborhood ice skating classes show off their skills at the ice arena's 40th annual show this weekend. This year's show — which began in the 1960s as an attraction for what was then the city's outdoor skating rink — is themed "Postcards from the Edge" and features more than 11 skating coaches and choreographers and almost 200 skaters.
