Ride the Rails of Oakland County

Our pick for today: Oakland County Rode the Rails

  • When: 8:30 a.m. Saturday
  • Where: Dick O'Dow's
  • Cost: $30
  • Why Go: Join rail fans, teachers, local historians, researchers and preservationists on a four hour bus tour that will retrace routes established by the Detroit United Railway within Oakland County. The tour will begin and end in Farmington at the site of the historic Botsford Inn, travel north through Royal Oak to Pontiac and back through the lakes area of central Oakland County. Lunch at Dick O'Dow's in Birmingham is included in the ticket price.
