Pet of the Week: Thistle Needs a Loving Home

Thistle is available for adoption through Paws for Life Rescue in Troy.

Meet Thistle.

He was born May 14 and rescued a week later with his mother and four littermates. He has short-length fur with black and white markings. Paws for Life Rescue says Thistle will be neutered prior to his adoption. He is good with using his litterbox and is learning to play with toys right now.

Thistle enjoys playing with his siblings, climbing his kitty tower and sitting on his shelf looking outside. He is a sweet, friendly, indoor-only cat who cannot be declawed, Paws for Life Rescue says. Thistle will be ready for adoption by July 9. His adoption fee is $100 and includes testing, deworming, age-appropriate vaccinations and spay/neuter.
