Patch Picks the Best Places for Easter Brunch

Need a place to go with the family after church this Sunday? We've found four places to brunch Birmingham.

Popular brunch spots fill up fast on Easter, so when church lets out, do you know where you're going with the family? This week in Patch Picks we're bringing you some of the hottest, most delicious brunch locations to enjoy ham omelettes, pancakes, mimosas and more.

Toast

has made a lot of noise on the local dining scene, but if you haven't tried out Birmingham's newest staple for brunch, there isn't a better time than the present. Plus, the restaurant was recently awarded the 2011 Best Breakfast and Brunch award from Metro Times for the second year in a row, right on the heels of similar awards from and Real Detroit.

Fleming's

is hosting a very special Easter brunch, with the meal kicking off at 11:30 a.m. and lasting until 3 p.m. Enjoy a Fleming's Bellini, the signature cocktail, while you dine on filet benedict, berry stuffed toast, or an asparagus, swiss cheese and crab frittata. Brunch costs $32.95 and the regular menu will also be available. Space is limited and reservations are encouraged. A children's menu, at $15.95 per meal, is also available.

Forté

will be offering a special brunch menu 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday. Featured menu items include bacon-wrapped spanish chorizo-stuffed dates, buttermilk blueberry and granola pancakes and a lobster frittata. To quench your thirst, Forté has mimosas, orange blossoms and bloody marys on tap. Later that evening, Forté will serve an Easter dinner from 4 to 8 p.m. Prices for dinner and brunch vary.

Zazio's

There's a lot on the Easter menu brunch this Sunday at . A breakfast station includes steel-cut oatmeal and assorted dry fruit. Then, indulge in roasted prime rib or roasted leg of lamb. Or, check out Zazio's garganele con salmone affumicata, made of homemade pasta tossed with a cream sauce, vegetables and salmon. Brunch prices vary.

Rugby Grille

Enjoy an elegant Easter brunch at the , located inside the . Special entree include Maine lobster eggs benedict, salmon wellington with lobster mousseline, apple smoked prime rib of beef and pan-roasted John Henry chicken. Entrees are between $55 and $65, with brunch hours lasting from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
