Area churches are celebrating Easter in a big way this year. Following is this year’s schedule of services across Birmingham:
- Easter: Mass will be held at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday.

- Easter: Services will be held at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday at Kensington's Birmingham campus at .

- Easter: Services will be held at 8 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. Sunday.

- Easter: An Easter sunrise service will be held at 7 a.m., followed by services at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m.

- Easter: The children and youth Easter program begins at 9:30 p.m., followed by a service at 11 a.m.
- More info: Coffee and fellowship will take place at 10:30 a.m., and there will be another Easter program at 6 p.m. Sunday.
- Easter: There will be a sunrise service at 7 a.m. in the Chambliss Outdoor Worship Center (service will be held indoors in case of inclement weather). Traditional serivces will be held at 8:15 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. There will also be a contemporary worship service at 11 a.m. in the Christian Life Center.

- More info: Join the Hallelujah Chorus on Easter morning during the 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. service. You will be provided with a copy of the music, or you can obtain a copy in advance by contacting Steve SeGraces, Linda Clark or Cherrise Baetz. Plus, there will be an Easter Egg Hunt immediately following the 10:30 a.m. service.

- More info: Members of First Baptist will travel to the Second Baptist Church of Detroit to participate in their early sunrise Easter service at 7 a.m. Back in Birmingham, an Easter breakfast will take place at 9 a.m. and following the 10:30 a.m. service, there will be an Easter Egg Hunt.
