Holiday Guide: 2011 Winter Holiday Gift Show

Patch is getting you ready for the holiday season, bringing you what you need to know with a full lineup of events, photos and stories. This week, we're talking about:

• When: 9:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Wednesday; 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday

Getting an early start on your holiday shopping? Check out more than 60 vendors at the 2011 Winter Holiday Gift Show, featuring everything from seasonal items, jewelry, clothing and books.

"You can find the perfect hostess gift, a trinket for your child, a gift for your best friend and, of course, maybe even a little something for yourself," said Mitzi Martin, co-chair of the event.

Attendees can also check out a gift show preview party from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, featuring more shopping, hors d'oeuvres and cocktails. Admission to the preview party costs $35 per person or $30 per person for a group of four or more.

"Be the first to see all of the wonderful gifts offered while enjoying a night out with your girlfriends or your spouse," said Lauren Eaton, co-chair of the preview party.

Preview party tickets also include entry to the show Wednesday and Thursday.
