Grab & Go Kids Planner: Disney on Ice, Cooking Classes and More

There's plenty to do with your family this week and weekend. Disney on Ice is heading to The Palace in Auburn Hills while the Detroit Zoo is providing kids ways to escape winter through crafts, a zookeeper talk and scavenger hunt. Plus, for busy moms, The Community House is hosting a cooking class where you'll learn how to make healthy dinners in less than 20 minutes.

'Disney on Ice: Disney-Pixar’s Toy Story 3'

• Why go: If you liked Toy Story 3, you’ll love watching Woody, Buzz, Jessie and the whole gang ice skate their way through the highlights. Special effects, large sets, creative costumes and skating dexterity round off the fun.
