Why go: It’s a way to say thank you and to celebrate all the women in your life — your mom, daughter, grandma, aunt, niece, friend or babysitter — and get dressed up and enjoy tea sandwiches, sweets, tea and punch.

What else: Girls, bring your favorite doll. There are contests, a storyteller, group activities and entertainment by The Community House Ballet Ensemble.

Why go: Bring your baby ages 3 months to 2 years and learn American Sign Language from a language teacher from Deaf and Hearing Impaired Services, Inc.

Why go: This is a great Mother’s Day present. During Ttree sessions with your mom, learn how to read a pattern, sew with a sewing machine and make an apron.
