Get Out: Part(y)ing the Sea, Mom 2 Mom Sale, Family Art Workshop

    When: 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday
    Why go: Need to find cheap children's clothes or toys? Visit the Mom 2 Mom Sale, with more than 70 tables of merchandise for sale. Strollers are allowed.

    When: 4:30-6:30 p.m. Saturday
    Why go: Temple Israel's Imagine Young Adults invites young families to join them at their pre-Passover pool party. The cost is $36 per family and includes swimming, pizza and cupcakes.

  3. Where:
    When: Thursday-Sunday
    Why go: Check out what's new in eyewear at the SEE Trunk Show. Don't miss out on exclusive new looks in limited quantities, some not even released in stores yet.

  4. Where:
    When: 1-4 p.m. Sunday
    Why go: Supplies and guidance are provided for family art projects in a casual setting. Plus, gallery access allows a museumlike experience before or after your craft session.

  5. Where: Jewish Community Center, 15110 W. 10 Mile Rd. in Oak Park
    When: 3 p.m. Sunday
    Why go: The Jewish Historical Society of Michigan will host area resident and author Benno Levi to discuss his latest book, The Sweetness of Freedom: Stories of Immigrants. The book received the 2011 Michigan Notable Book Award.
