What's been going on around Michigan this week? George Clooney slept here. We saw a Super Moon. We drank green beer, and we talked about bleeding Tiger blood.

What's been going on around Michigan Patches this week? Well, any week where we can get Tiger blood, George Clooney, a Super Moon and robots in the same roundup has to mean it's been eventful.

Some of at Patch swooned when we spotted George Clooney filming his picture, The Ides of March, around town this week. We caught up with him in Clawson and snapped a few pics of the superstar in action. (Sigh.)

Trying to cash in on the Charlie Sheen frenzy, a Wyandotte man has turned Sheen's infamous "tiger blood" phrase into a T-shirt that reads: "I Bleed Tiger Blood" in orange and blue.

In the first meeting since closing a middle school, the Huron Valley Board of Education was presented with a petition to rescind their vote. Tempers were hot as many parents felt the district was cowering and not addressing their concerns.

Well, just robotics clubs, not the actual robots. The super smart and quite clever robotics teams from all over SE Michigan squared off in a meet at Wayne State. The winner? The ThunderChickens.
