Fuel Report: Gas Prices Hovering Near $4 a Gallon Monday

Gas prices may not be as expensive as last week, but regional averages are still hovering north of $4 a gallon.

According to the AAA, the average price for a gallon of gas in Metro Detroit is $4.01 this morning, down slightly from last week's average of $4.05 a gallon.

Some of the lowest gas prices in and around southeastern Michigan can be found near Flint, at $3.49, while the second-cheapest gas prices are in nearby Clawson, at $3.59 a gallon.

In Birmingham, the cheapest gas you're going to find is just south of $4, at $3.99 a gallon.
