Fuel Report: Gas Prices Begin to Rise in Birmingham

Memorial Day is getting closer and after weeks of slow declines, gas prices are inching back upwards again.
According to the AAA, the average price for a gallon of gas in Metro Detroit is $3.72 this morning, up from $3.68 a week ago.
Some of the lowest gas prices in and around southeastern Michigan can be found in South Lyon, at $3.45 a gallon, as well as Dearborn Heights, at $3.46 a gallon.

In and around Birmingham Monday morning, the cheapest price is $3.75 a gallon, found at the Speedway and Citgo stations on Woodward Avenue.
