Fuel Report: Area Gas Prices Fall Below $4
Average price for a gallon of gas in southeastern Michigan falls more than 20 cents.
Gas prices are below $4 per gallon, but not by much.
According to AAA, the average price for a gallon of regular gas in Metro Detroit is $3.84 Monday morning, down from $4.07 a week ago. This is up from $2.73 at this time last year.
The lowest prices in southwestern Michigan this morning are $3.63 and $3.64 in Burton. Gas is also hitting $3.64 in Flint. In and around Birmingham Monday morning, the cheapest gas price was only $3.85.
