Family Movie Night Moved Indoors to Seaholm

Festivities start at 7:30 p.m., followed by the movie at dusk.

Organizer have moved tonight's Family Movie Night to Seaholm High School due to the excessive heat and the threat of severe storms, officials said. 

The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Oakland County until 10 p.m. There is a 60 percent chance of rain and the storm has the potential for damaging winds.

“The Lion King”, will be shown in the school gymnasium at 2346 W Lincoln St. The entrance is on the Cranbrook Road side of the building by the football field.

Pre-movie entertainment begins at 7:30 p.m., and the movie is scheduled to start  at dusk. Food and beverages will still be available for purchase. The event is co-sponsored by the Birmingham Bloomfield Community Coalition and PSD.
