Check Out AAUW Book Sale This Weekend

The annual book sale put on by the Birmingham branch of the American Association of University Women will take place at the Birmingham Masonic Temple in Bloomfield Hills.

Our pick for today:

  • When: Friday-Sunday
  • Where: Birmingham Masonic Temple (37357 Woodward Ave. in Bloomfield Hills)
  • Cost: AAUW guests must pay $10 admission from 2-5 p.m. Friday; Admission free all other days
  • Why Go: The AAUW will be holding its annual book sale this weekend to raise money for the Joyce Hanston Manby Research and Projects Grant. Come browse hundreds of quality used books, with a preview sale slated for Friday and a bag sale from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday. In addition, area teachers are welcome to take home up to $75 worth of books for their classrooms from 1-5 p.m. Saturday.
