Also with a big presence at the festival Sunday was Beaumont's Children's Miracle Network, including the Michigan Miracle Child, Kayla Daniels, a 13-year-old who was diagnosed with Ewings sarcoma when she was 9.

"I'm very grateful for the Children's Miracle Network," said Kayla's mother Karen during the Miles4Miles race. "This is very important for all of us. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts."
