Banff Mountain Film Festival Comes to Cranbrook Friday

Check out some of the best mountaineering films in the world at the Banff Mountain Film Festival when it visits the Cranbrook Art Museum Friday.

  • Why Go: The Banff Centre, an arts center located in Canada's Banff National Park, is bringing their annual film and book festival to the Birmingham and Bloomfield area. In partnership with Moosejaw Mountaineering, the festival features some of the world's best footage on mountain subjects shot by everyone from beginner filmmakers to professional crews from National Geographic and the BBC. Tickets are on sale only at and Rochester; no tickets wil be available at the door.
