A Busy Month: What's Happening in Birmingham This October

You'll be busy, not bored, in Birmingham this month.

The first official weekend of October is over and signs of fall are here, from the changing leaves to the cooler weather, to the increase of activities in and around town.

The month begins with a reason to do some fall cleaning — a rummage sale at the First Presbyterian Church of Birmingham — while wrapping up with Halloween and the Junior League's 18th annual Pumpkin Patch.

Patch will keep you up-to-date with what's going on every week, but we've got your monthly look ahead to keep as a handy reference.
