5 Things To Know This Week: Superintendent Finalists, Our Shepherd Graduation

Here's what you need to know about Birmingham this week:

  1. Superintendent finalists to interview Wednesday, Thursday: Daniel Nerad and Robert Shaner, both finalist for the superintendent position with , will interview for a second time on Wednesday and Thursday at the district administrative offices. Interviews begin at 5:45 p.m.
  2. School board meeting Tuesday: The Birmingham Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the district's administrative offices. 
  3. : Fifth graders from the will graduate Wednesday at a ceremony beginning at 7 p.m. at the school.
  4. : The National Associatin of Career Women will hold a wine tasting and membership drive beginning at 5 p.m. Wednesday at . The event is $15 for members for $30 for guests, while a year membership costs $155. 
  5. : The Pink Fund, a nonprofit that provides financial aid to women with breast cancer, will hold a fundraiser and wine-tasting event at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Franklin's Franklin Grill. There will be raffles, food-pairings and all proceeds will benefit the Pink Fund.
