5 Things to Know This Week: Powderpuff Game, Millage Information Session

Here's what you need to know about Birmingham this week.

  1. City Commission, Planning Board meetings: The Birmingham City Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday on the second floor of . On the agenda is a public hearing on use of Community Development Block Grant Funds and proposed approval of the 2012 Birmingham Bike Festival, among other items. The Birmingham Planning Board will meet in the City Commission Room at Birmingham City Hall on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
  2. Millage information session: (BPS) will host an information session about the at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The session will be held at the BPS Administration Building. Residents are urged to attend to get any questions relating to the millage proposal answered.
