5 Things To Know This Week: Fall Musical, CROP Walk and More

Here's what you need to know about Birmingham this week.

1. School Board to meet Tuesday: The Birmingham Public Schools Board will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Central Administration Office at 550 W. Merrill. 

2. Silver Pig Restaurant Group job fair Tuesday: Looking for a job? The Silver Pig Restaurant Group — made up of Tallulah Wine Bar, Bella Piatti and Addie & Jack's — will be holding a job fair from 1-3 p.m. Tuesday at Tallulah. The group is seeking servers, hosts and hostesses, bussers, bar backs, bartenders, cooks, dishwashers and more. All candidates should come with their resumes. 

3. Baldwin Public Library holds 'Ghost Walk-In' for teens: What happens during after hours at the library? Come in for some scary fun and find out for yourself. Make some paper cobwebs or a zombie pop during this free event which begins at 6:30 p.m.

4. 'The Little Mermaid Jr.' at Seaholm: Project DayDream presents the fall musical The Little Mermaid Jr. this weekend at Seaholm High School. Shows will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday and 7 p.m. Saturday with tickets just $15.

5. Birmingham/Bloomfield CROP Walk Sunday: Church World Service will host its 30th annual CROP Walk at the First United Methodist Church of Birmingham at 2 p.m. Sunday. Various walking routes will end at the First Presbyterian Church of Birmingham.
