  1. City Commission to meet Monday: The Birmingham City Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at . On the agenda is a public review of the 2012-13 budget, as discussed in a special meeting Saturday.
  2. : The Community House's Race Relations and Diversity Task Force will host its 13th annual Diversity Champions Honor Roll Breakfast at 8 a.m. Thursday at . The breakfast recognizes individuals who have been active in support of diversity and the ideals of inclusion.
  3. : Do you love Detroit coneys? Katherine Yung and Joe Grimm, authors of the new Coney Detroit —a comprehensive look at the history of coneys in Detroit — will be speaking at 7 p.m. Wednesday at The Community House. Come for the lecture, stay for the free coneys, Coke and the history.
  4. : It's time to bust out the rented tuxes and floor-length dresses, because it's prom time for students. The big event begins at 7 p.m. at Glen Oaks Country Club in Farmington Hills. Tickets are $55 and are on sale at the school.
