Grassroots? Not! Nonpartisan? Not! Creature of the Great Recession? Not!

The Tea Party would like you to believe that it's a grassroots organization made up of political newbies born of the Great Recession, but a new study out of Harvard and Notre Dame shows that it is really made up of socially conservative veteran Republicans with a strong desire to see religion play a greater role in politics.
