National Coney Island Starts Frenzy

WDIV Local 4 and National Coney Island, Inc are highlighting high school football. They are on the hunt for the Game Of The Week.

As high school football season begins, one game each week will demonstrate the most school spirit by voting at ClickOnDetroit. Then, Local 4 News will broadcast live from that school. To nominate your team, e-mail us at frenzy@clickondetroit.com.

Here's how it works:

·         Each week Local4 will nominate games and post them on the www.ClickonDetroit.com/4Frenzy  page.

·         Schools must watch Local 4 News Morning and find out if their school was nominated that week.

·         Students and fans go to www.ClickOnDetroit.com/4Frenzy  and VOTE for their school. The game with the most votes at that time will be named Game Of The Week.

·         The winner will be announced on Local 4 News Morning on Thursday at 6:30 a.m.

·         Students, families and school staff that vote often, will have a better chance of winning.

Added bonuses:

1.      Go to the www.clickonDetroit.com/4Frenzy  page and students get to show off their school spirit by posting their pictures and videos. There will also be forums, slideshows and a safe place for students to chat about the games.

2.      Local 4 also wants to team up with students interested in media, reporting and production to create a weekly online sports show highlighting the  school's football team. These videos will be posted on ClickOnDetroit.com and could be used as portfolio pieces for students. In fact, if students or coaches are shooting highlights of each game, ClickOnDetroit.com will post.

The www.ClickOnDetroit.com/4Frenzy High School Football page will be THE place to check schedules, final scores and rankings each week and information about National Coney Island’s deals and special treats.
