The final one is set for Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and is invitation-only. But if you're curious, here's what a few local people said about the brewery that features a taproom, a traditional German-style biergarten and outdoor patio and a menu that includes a variety of casual food, and a dozen seasonal and specialty brews.

"A delicious well-balanced beer selection. Tried nearly every beer, and no disappointments!" Gary Marshall said on the Griffin Claw Facebook page.

"The increasing demand for his beer and his growing fan base were instrumental in why we decided to open Griffin Claw Brewing Company," Bonnie LePage said.  "We’re really looking forward to the opening and everyone being able to enjoy Dan’s beer in a very unique and fun setting.”

Those that got a first taste this week agreed.

"Went to Griffin Claw Soft opening last night - nice beer selection - limited menu but cool and PRICES are GREAT!!!!!Going to be out on the patio there a lot this summer," Birmingham Patch reader Suzanne Shields wrote Tuesday on the Birmingham Patch Facebook page.
