Walgreens will open this fall in the former Borders location in Birmingham, the development company announced on Monday.
"We are thrilled to announced the fact that this deal has come to a successful close," said Chris Brochert, a partner at Lormax Stern Development Co., in a news release.
"It is exactly the kind of opportunity we look for at Lormax Stern," Brochert said. "Not only were we able to help fill a void left by Borders' closure, but this retail development means more jobs for Oakland County and increased investment in southeast Michigan."
