Nominate the Best Restaurant in Birmingham for Enjoying Lunch With Friends

Let us know which Birmingham restaurant is the best for lunch with friends so we can put it to a vote and name a Readers’ Choice 2012 winner.

What's the best restaurant in town where you can sit back, relax and chat with friends?

Patch is relaunching its Readers’ Choice program and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and anyone else who knows the about Birmingham to nominate the best restaurants for lunch with friends.

We’ll keep accepting nominations through July 9. After that, nominations will be closed and we’ll start the voting, so make sure to get in your favorites now.

All you need to do to nominate a business is to add it in the comments below. If you already see the business you want to nominate, make sure to add your comment about why it should be included, because we may not be able to add all businesses to our poll and we want to make sure the top ones make it into the poll.

Thanks in advance for your participation.

Sign up for the Birmingham Patch Newsletter to find out when voting starts so you can support your favorite local businesses when the voting begins.

Frank Street Bakery. Cute, intimate restaurant just off the beaten path. A great place to catch up with friends over a nice healthy lunch.

As the owner, I enjoy watching the loyal regulars, local business professionals, neighbors and friends of all ages share stories and kick back over some hot pressed sandwiches and desserts at Frank Street Bakery. It reminds me of “simpler times” where word of mouth advertising is the highest compliment. We offer a casual and clean atmosphere to meet old friends or make new ones. If you have not yet nominated Frank Street Bakery for the best restaurant in Birmingham for enjoying lunch with friends, you may just have to visit us real soon:)

Yesterday on my street, I saw a tree, on city property, with 'stuff' piled high around the base ofRead More the tree. I tried to tell the two gentlemen there it would eventually kill the tree. 'Not so!' they replied, according to, I believe, their landscaper. They then proceeded to try and placate this nosy gray haired woman. Maybe someone from the city could clue them in??
