Frugal Family: Community Sales Offer Inexpensive Books, Children's Clothes

This week, Frugal Family scoured local sources to come up with great deals and found bargains on everything from winter jackets to inexpensive baby toys. Remember to check with the merchants for additional conditions:

    Looking to buy a winter coat? With any purchase of a Gore-Tex jacket for more than $200, receive a $51 e-gift card.

  2. 's Mom 2 Mom Sale
    Deal:
    Looking for some great deals on children's toys and clothes? Midvale Early Childhood Center will hold a Mom 2 Mom Sale from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday. Items for sale include baby and children’s clothing, books, toys, furniture and accessories.

    Nov. 12

  3. Deal:
    It's not the normal place you would find a deal, but this weekend, the Friends of the Baldwin Public Library is hosting its biannual book sale, and book lovers can snag all kinds of books — as well as CDs, DVDs and books on tape — for $4 and less.

  4. Deal:
    Everyone needs milk, right? This week, Kroger is selling Kroger-brand milk for $2.49 a gallon with your Kroger Plus card.

  5. Deal:
    Just because it's late fall doesn't mean you can't enjoy a nice, juicy strawberry. Large packages of strawberries are two for $4 this week.
