Earth Day at Zazios

In keeping with its commitment to support local Michigan Farmers and to celebrate Earth Day, will be offering a special Chef Table event April 21-23 featuring local farmers such as Hickory Hills Farm, Cousin Don, Binkley Farms, Blue Water Organics, Jackson Goat Farm and Eastern Market. Sevearl Michigan wine makers will also be represented.

"We are pleased to support the lifeline of Michigan economy, our local farmers, and to honor their hard work and their commitment to providing quality Michigan produce, we decided to invite them to be part of this national event on Earth Day at Zazios and showcase their products to our guests" said Fadi Achour, Zazios general manager.

"At Zazios, we are committed to supporting our local farmers, I always look for Michigan first every time to supply us with our needs in the kitchen, we are proud of our relationships of the local Birmingham and Eastern Market vendors, and what a better day to offer our support than during Earth Day celebrations," said Executive Chef John Korycki.

The event will consist of a five-course meal made with local Michigan foods, matched with Michigan-made wines. Local farmers and wine makers will also be present to discuss their farms and what they produce.

Helen Phillips, winner of the Biggest Loser, will be on hand April 22.
