Business Briefs: Bec and Sam's to Hold Communion Dress Trunk Show

Children's boutique to host annual Communion dress trunk show

Looking for a Communion dress this year? , the children's retailer in downtown Birmingham, will hold its ninth annual Communion Dress Trunk Show on Saturday and Sunday.

The show will feature more than 100 different dresses from several designers and more than 50 different veils.

Bec and Sam's will not sell the same dress to any two girls in the same Communion class, ensuring "every girl feels as special and unique as she should on her very special day," owner Julie Grippo said.

Massage therapist, allergy treatment center move into Adams Square

Sharp's studio specializes in therapeutics, temperomandibular joint dysfunction and sinus relief massages. Sharp also provides $1-per-minute massages for those who have only a few minutes to spare.

Joining Sharp's massage studio at Adams Square is the New Life Natural Health Center, which evaluates and treats allergies using a pain-free treatment philosophy. Sharp will cater to the health center's patients alongside certified nutritionist Sheryl Shenefelt.

"The team really complements each other, and we find it easy to refer our clients to each other," Sharp said.
