VIDEOS: Birmingham Street Fair Creates Space for Artists

Common Ground's 37th annual Street Art Fair brought more than 160 artists to the streets of Birmingham last weekend, each with his or her own unique style. Let's meet some of them.

Common Ground's 37th annual invaded the streets of Birmingham last weekend, with more than 160 artists from Metro Detroit and the Midwest setting up camp on South Old Woodward and Merrill Street.

  • Farmington Hills artist Dennis O'Neill, who has created raku, art created using a Japanese firing method, for more than 25 years. He is a regular at local shows.
  • Rochester Hills resident Richard Burger, who creates watercolors of nautically themed settings. He enjoys exhibiting in local shows and letting others see his work.
