This Weekend, Rock Out to 'Schoolhouse Rock Live! JR.'

The Community House's Sara Smith Productions will put on four performances of the play based on the Emmy Award-winning children's educational television series.

Tuesday is here, but we're already shaking our hips and singing along to some old favorites as we think about today's Weekend Spotlight:

Our pick for today:

  • When: 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Saturday; 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday
  • Where:
  • Cost: $10 for children's floor seating, $15 for general seating, $30 for Friends limited reserved seating
  • Why go: Whether's it's "I'm Just a Bill" or "Conjunction Junction," we all have a favorite song from the Emmy Award-winning children's educational television series, Schoolhouse Rock. Now, the rock is back with a fun, live-action performance, featuring the actors and singers of The Community House's Sara Smith Productions Youth Theatre. Performances will be held on the Sara Evelyn Smith Stage in The Community House's Wallace Ballroom. Tickets purchased online will be available for pick-up at The Community House or at the will-call window the day of the show.
