Michael Connelly Luncheon

and will be hosting Michael Connelly — author of 22 novels, short stories and a non-fiction collection crime stories — for a luncheon April 14.

Connelly is visiting Birmingham, as well as West Bloomfield's Jewish Community Center and the Dearborn Public Library as part of "Everyone's Reading," a community-wide reading program sponsored by metro Detroit public libraries in Oakland and Wayne counties. The program's featured book this year is Connelly's latest book The Lincoln Lawyer, the film version of which was recently released starring Matthew McConaughey.

The luncheon is $40 per person and space is limited, so participants are encouraged to RSVP early. Books will be available for purchase and signing from the Book Beat bookstore. Proceeds from the luncheon will benefit the Baldwin Public Library and The Community House. To register, call 248-644-5832.
