Caroling, Caroling: An Alfred Burt Family Christmas

The choirs of St. James and All Saints, Pontiac, with soloists and guest instrumentalists, join forces to present the complete Christmas carols written for Christmas cards 1922-56 by Alfred Burt and his father, the Rev. Bates Burt, onetime rector at All Saints. Many are known around the world, having been published, broadcast and recorded by Columbia Records. Additional carols included in the program were written by Wihla Hutson, who continued the tradition from 1956 until her death, and by Alfred Burt's great-niece, Abbie Burt Betinis, who continues the tradition today.

Images of the Burt Christmas cards and important events from the years they were made will be shown on screen.
