Axis Music Academy Grand Opening

Axis Music Academy will host an all-day Grand Opening Celebration to inaugurate its newest location in downtown Birmingham. This is an open-house event from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. There will be a special ribbon cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. The public is invited to partake in all of the events of the day, including a VIP party from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Attendees are eligible for special prize give-aways including a guitar and a month’s worth of free lessons. Also available will be special discounts on music class enrollment and on gear from Guitar Center. Complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be provided.

The Grand Opening Celebration will also kick off the Young Artist Competition, sponsored by Axis Music Foundation. Applicants from grades K through 12 are invited to submit original artwork on a 2’x2’ canvas to compete for prizes and a chance to have their work displayed on the wall at Axis Music Academy. The theme of the artwork is “Learn to Rock.” Entry forms for the competition must be submitted on site at the Birmingham Axis location between January 18 and January 21, 2012.
