BBAC Hosts 2012 Michigan Fine Arts Competition

The evening begins at 6 p.m. with an artists reception followed by the awards presentation. More than 170 artists from 80 Michigan cities submitted pieces to this year's show.

Why Go: This Friday marks the kick off for the 2012 Michigan Fine Arts Competition at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center. More than 236 works of art from 177 artists from 80 cities throughout Michigan were accepted into the show, which will run at the Art Center March 30-May 4. Friday, artists and art-lovers can mingle during an artists reception, followed by the awards presentation.
