Popcorn Treats That Won't Stick to Teeth at the Birmingham Farmers Market

The difference is all about baking the sweets into the popcorn kernel and not just tumbling, according to one long-time vendor.

The Birmingham Farmers Market, which resumes its 11th season Sunday, brings a host of fun and interesting characters to town every year. Among them is Gary King, who peddles Will Cole Gourmet Popcorn and entices passersby with free samples of caramel or chocolate drizzled treats.

"It's the best-tasting, all-natural popcorn you can get, and it won't stick to your teeth," he said during the kick-off of the summer-long event that drew a large crowd to Old Woodward Avenue last week.
