FRIDAY, SEPT. 28 DISCUSSION PROGRAM
What goes on in the head of photographer who must prepare for similarities and the dissimilarities of political conventions, Winter Olympics, World Cup Soccer, Rolling Stones and Frank Sinatra concerts, the Ryder Cup and the White House?
Come to the Friday discussion and pick the brain of a locally grown youth whose childhood passion underwrites his on-going photojournalistic career. While Doug Ashley shares some photos of these events, it will be his answers to such questions as, “What are challenges to being in the right place at the right time?” that will be precious. This information cannot be seen in his photos. Included will be his observations about the recent Republican Conventions and others that he has covered since 1960.
See you in the Hackett room at 12:45 where your questions will be welcome.
