How long you've had it: 27 years

Car club: Grand Touring Sports Car Association

Why this car?: Harper always enjoyed the look of the Ford GT-40 but couldn't afford it. So, he decided to build and customize a kit car to look similar to the Ford GT-40. Harper even added an Oldsmobile Toronado V8 engine to the car, "to make the car go even faster," he said.

What is special about the Dream Cruise or the Birmingham Cruise?: Harper's favorite part about the Birmingham Cruise is being able to show off his unique creation to automobile enthusiasts. Being able to showcase his car in front of "people that love cars and will appreciate the hard work involved in building a vehicle to your own design and expectations," is great, Harper said.
