Whether you are applying to college this summer or you are just finishing ninth grade, learn how to use your writing skills to get into the school of your dreams. Wow Writing Workshop, the national experts, will share tips on writing college essays, scholarship essays and mastering the writing portion of the ACT and SAT. This workshop is ideal for students grades 9-11 and their parents.

Fee: This workshop is being offered at no cost by Wow Writing Workshop, but registration is required.

How important is a college application essay? Good grades and test scores might not be enough to get into the school of your dreams, but you can wow admissions officers with a strong application essay. Parents and students, join Wow Writing Workshop for a lively discussion about the myths and facts. We’ll talk about prompts, voice, choosing a topic and how to stand out from the college-bound crowd. Bring paper and a pen, and come prepared to write. (You too, mom and dad!)
