Thank Santa Before He Leaves for the North Pole Jan. 5 at Leon & Lulu

Santa Will Be Accepting Thank You Notes, Hugs and Toys and Books for Kids in Need from 1-4 p.m.

Leon & Lulu will give everyone one last chance to see Santa before he heads back to the North Pole for a long winter nap. The Thank You Santa Event will be held at Leon & Lulu from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, January 5, 2013.

Kids of all ages will have the chance to hand deliver thank you notes, pose for a post-holiday picture (please bring camera), and enjoy milk and cookies with the Jolly Old Elf. The Salvation Army will be on hand to collect new, unwrapped toys and books for children in need.

“Santa works hard and deserves a little party,” says Mary Liz Curtin, owner of Leon & Lulu. “In fact, he worked so hard this year, he’ll be wearing PJs to our party. We’re just delighted he’s taking time out of his busy schedule to make one last stop to collect thank you notes, hugs and books and toys for kids who really need them.”

Ten percent of all sales Jan. 5 will also benefit The Salvation Army. Although the Santa Thank You Event is a one-day event, Leon & Lulu will accept dropped-off toys to benefit The Salvation Army at any time.
